What many people do not realise is that UPVC Bi-folds expand in the heat much more than Aluminium Bi-folds. Which is why the maximum width for UPVC folding doors is around 4 metres. Our Aluminium Bi-folds comfortably go up to 6 metres or more. Aluminium doors are also slimmer than UPVCU so you get a larger glass area.
